Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IoT Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The role involves defining end-to-end IoT architecture, integrating hardware and software systems, and ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance IoT deployments aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end IoT architecture including devices, gateways, networks, cloud, and applications
- Define IoT solution blueprints, technology stack, and integration patterns
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cloud, and application teams
- Architect data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics pipelines
- Ensure scalability, security, reliability, and performance of IoT systems
- Select and integrate communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, BLE)
- Design device management, OTA updates, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Implement security best practices including device authentication, encryption, and access control
- Work with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT)
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to project teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in IoT architecture and large-scale system design
- Hands-on experience with IoT protocols, sensors, gateways, and embedded systems
- Proficiency in cloud platforms and IoT services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with data streaming, storage, and analytics (Kafka, Spark, time-series databases)
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and system integration
- Strong understanding of IoT security, networking, and edge computing
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with edge AI / AIoT solutions
- Knowledge of digital twins and predictive maintenance
- Experience in industries like manufacturing, smart cities, healthcare, or energy
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
