Job Description
We are looking for a highly analytical and curious Data Scientist to extract insights from large datasets and build data-driven solutions. The role involves applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to solve complex business problems and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models
- Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to define data problems
- Develop predictive and descriptive models for forecasting and optimization
- Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Monitor model performance and improve accuracy over time
- Stay updated with latest data science techniques and tools
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python or R
- Experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
- Experience with SQL and data querying
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Experience handling large datasets and data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or time-series analysis
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
