Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions. The Cloud Architect will define cloud strategies, lead architectural decisions, and ensure cloud environments align with business, security, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-optimized cloud systems
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, application, and data teams
- Implement security, identity, access management, and compliance controls
- Architect CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost optimization (FinOps)
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in cloud architecture and large-scale system design
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP services
- Experience with networking (VPC/VNet, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code and automation tools
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cloud governance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect)
- Experience with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
